Harmonyland Oita Guide – Japan’s Outdoor Sanrio Theme Park with Hello Kitty

Harmonyland Oita Guide

Japan’s Outdoor Sanrio Theme Park

Harmonyland is a Sanrio character theme park located in Oita, Kyushu.

Unlike Sanrio Puroland in Tokyo, which is entirely indoor, Harmonyland is an outdoor theme park where visitors can enjoy attractions, character greetings, parades, and themed restaurants.

It’s also conveniently located near Beppu Onsen and Yufuin, making it an easy addition to a Kyushu travel itinerary.

What is Harmonyland?

Harmonyland is one of Sanrio’s official theme parks featuring beloved characters such as:

  • Hello Kitty

  • My Melody

  • Kuromi

  • Cinnamoroll

  • Pompompurin

The park includes 14 attractions, character meet-and-greet experiences, and several themed shows throughout the day.

Compared with many major theme parks in Japan, Harmonyland is known for being spacious and less crowded, making it easier to enjoy rides and shows.
