The permanent Chiikawa Restaurant inside Ikebukuro PARCO is bringing a brand-new themed event to fans this fall: the “Toubatsu Fair” (討伐フェア), starting November 27, 2025 (Thursday)!

Based on the popular manga series Chiikawa by illustrator Nagano, this café blends cute storytelling with surprisingly deep (and sometimes dark) themes. The “Toubatsu Fair” brings those battle scenes to life—through food, desserts, and drinks.
🍴 New Battle-Themed Menu Inspired by the Manga

Chiikawa fans will immediately recognize the scenes reimagined as food items:
-
Chiikawa’s Nightmare Doria
A colorful baked rice dish inspired by the episode where Chiikawa gets scared after losing a staring contest. -
Hachiware’s Victory Dry Curry Omurice
Commemorating the triumphant training arc where Hachiware successfully completes a monster subjugation with Rakko!
In total, the special menu includes:
-
2 mains
-
2 desserts
-
5 themed drinks
-
2 side dishes
👉 All with playful names and manga-style presentation!

🎁 Exclusive Goods & Special Shopper Gift
To celebrate the fair, the Chiikawa Restaurant gift shop will release new original merchandise from Nov 27, 2025.
💡 Spend ¥4,400 (tax included) or more and receive the Chiikawa Restaurant Original Shopper Bag – Vol. 4 as a gift (while supplies last).
Merch availability and prices may change depending on stock and timing.

💡 About Chiikawa
Originally a hit manga on Japanese social media, Chiikawa (ちいかわ) tells the bittersweet, everyday adventures of Chiikawa, Hachiware, Usagi, and friends as they face trials, earn certificates, and tackle “toubatsu” (monster subjugation). Equal parts cute and emotional, it's a phenomenon both in Japan and abroad.
