A brand-new Pokémon experience is coming to Tokyo.
PokéPark Kanto, the first-ever outdoor permanent Pokémon theme park, will officially open on February 5, 2026, inside Yomiuriland (Tokyo). This new park is created through a joint project between The Pokémon Company, Yomiuri Land Co., Ltd., and The Yomiuri Shimbun Tokyo Headquarters.

With two themed zones, interactive encounters, exclusive events, and limited-entry tickets, PokéPark Kanto is set to become one of Japan’s most anticipated attractions of 2026.
🌳 Explore the Wilderness of “Pokémon Forest”

The highlight of PokéPark Kanto is the Pokémon Forest, a 2.6-hectare natural adventure zone built around the lush Tama Hills landscape.
Visitors can enjoy:

A 500-meter forest trail with uneven paths, grass areas, tunnels, and hidden spots

Unique Pokémon habitats, each featuring characters with different expressions and poses

The Yomiuri Group and Pokémon have collaborated for many years, including:
