YOSHIKI Announces - Full Return “YOSHIKI CLASSICAL 2026” Begins Its First Global Chapter in Tokyo

Japanese musician YOSHIKI has officially announced his full return to the stage with a new classical concert project,
“YOSHIKI CLASSICAL 2026: The Eve of Awakening – Tokyo 3 Nights, Chapter One to the World.”

The three-night performance will take place from April 3–5, 2026, at Tokyo Garden Theater, marking a symbolic and artistic restart of his career.

A Return Defined by Time and Recovery

Following his third neck surgery in 2024 and an extended rehabilitation period throughout 2025, YOSHIKI described this classical concert as the true beginning of his next phase.

Rather than a typical comeback, the project represents a carefully considered re-entry — grounded in piano and strings, and shaped by years of physical and artistic reflection.

From World Heritage to World Stage

YOSHIKI also referenced his November 2025 performance at Hegra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Saudi Arabia.
Playing modern music in front of a 2,000-year-old monument, he said, helped him envision the future direction of his work.

Launching the first chapter of his global classical journey in Japan reflects both a return to origins and a step toward international expansion.

New Music and a Quiet Christmas Moment

During the press conference, YOSHIKI premiered his new composition “LARMES,” scheduled for release on January 23, 2026.

In a quiet closing moment, he performed “Silent Night” on piano, creating an unexpected sense of warmth and intimacy.
